Process and Technique
For the majority of the time, I used the plastic paint knife to mix the paint. This gave me clear and precise swirls of the colours mixing in the painting.
Used scrunched up paper.
This technique enhanced the depth in the painting more than the bubble wrap. The bubble wrap gave the paint subtle depth but separated the colours better than the paper did.

Final Outcomes
Used the bottom of a glue stick to get even circles.
These are some of the final painting. All paintings were scanned and photographed. Using various techniques to get different paint textures was a good way to experiment with colour and get more material for when I make the animated pattern.
