The main question now is “How will the audience know the characters are going to have a dance off?”
The answer. Through title cards! Similar to the ones in silent movies.
Title cards or Intertitles are printed dialogue or narration that is shown between scenes in silent films.

Since I only have a short time to tell the story through my animation, making sure that the audience is aware that the characters are having a dance is my priority. Using Title cards is effective in doing so.

The theme I am going for with my intertitle is a modern yet simplistic look. By keeping it simple, the audience will be able to read it and understand straight away. The colour scheme compliments that too. The modern aspect comes through the typography, I used a bold and loud text to show excitement.
