The video above is my final draft for EYES.
To improve Adrian’s video, I had to edit a few parts. Such as:
- A new intro that had a minimalist aesthetic so that the audience would know that this video was about a serious topic. I used this same style for the quote and credits.
I used the audio spectrum tool in After Effects to create the sound wave of the narration. the sound waves originally start off in black and white, I then keyframed the hue and saturation to change during the animation so that it would get more colourful towards the end of the narration.
I also added a ‘glow’ to the sound wave so that when the could started to change it gets more vibrant. The meaning behind changing the colour during the narration and and a glow as to show how even through the man is blind he is yet to discover the beauty in his blindness, which are the vibration he can ‘see’.
