1st greenscreen shot went ok, I think I may need to shoot again due to the issues I had during this shoot.
Issue 1: I underestimated how high I need the camera to be. The max height of the tripod wasn’t enough to film from above my subject. I created this platform using foam pads (image on right) but the camera still wasn’t high enough. To overcome this I could either, shoot again at my desired height, using a table as a platform or change the angle of my shot. I am hesitant to change the angle of my shot because I really want to show the division in society and using a different angle will not give the same effect.
Issue 2: The camera film settings were wrong so my filmed footage has a motion blur to it and the quality is really bad. I have to re-film sometime this week.
***UPDATE*** – 2ND NOV 2016
I went to re-film and one of the lights weren’t working. Since I don’t have enough time to re-film before the deadline I will have to leave it. I will defiantly try and re-film my footage for Project 2.
For next time I need to:
- Make sure the camera setting is on ALL-I so there isn’t any motion blur
- Ensure all lights are working before I start to film. This is so there is not any delay when filming.
